Uno dei principali costituenti delle piante è il carbonio, il quale può essere assimilato,dalle piante acquatiche,solo sotto forma
di anidride carbonica (CO2) attraverso la fotosintesi clorofilliana. L’anidride carbonica, inoltre, svolge un ruolo importante
nella regolazione del pH. Il giusto livello di CO2 è determinato dal pH e dal KH; con questo test si avrà immediatamente
l’esito!

Il calcio è uno dei metalli più noti e importanti per lo sviluppo dei coralli duri. Valori ottimali si hanno con un quantitativo
compreso tra 400 e 450 mg/l. L’assimilazione del Calcio è però legata ad un certo quantitativo di Magnesio.
Un buon rapporto Calcio/Magnesio è indicativamente di 3 a 1. 1 goccia = 25 mg/l.
